We are looking for Occupational Therapists to join our rotation.
You will carry a varied individual caseload and have opportunities to gain experience across acute & community sites. We offer rotations on Trauma & Orthopaedics, Neurology, Older Adults Rehabilitation, Acute Medicine, Children's Services, Community Rehabilitation, & Admissions Avoidance. You will be supported by experienced senior staff.
There is a requirement to work on a rota basis to provide a weekend, Bank Holiday and extended hours cover.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the Junior rotation scheme which involves working across the Trust in a range of ward and other settings including but not exclusive to: medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, community rehabilitation & admission avoidance and care of the elderly.
To provide Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of patients in the area of each rotation and to the out of hours services.
To maintain close working relationships with other health professionals /referrers to ensure efficient, effective and appropriate delivery of the service.
