The post holder will be a member of the Management Team of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Integrated Service (IDS) providing leadership, direction and support, enabling staff to work in new ways to deliver integrated services for patients and clients supporting the re-design of care services, whilst facilitating effective relationships and networking across the economy operationally managing the Diabetes Specialist Nurse Team, Diabetes Foot Team, Endocrinology Team.
Main duties of the job
Manage day to day running of the integrated diabetes and endocrine service within their remit, to ensure they work effectively and efficiently in accordance with their job descriptions in order to provide appropriate support for the Diabetes and Endocrinology Directorate Manager . Design and oversight of specific informatics and data reports -Activity, NDA's, KPI's and others, working in conjunction with Divisional Informatics Lead, ELHT Informatics and wider organisations.

As well as operationally managing a number of services the post holder is also responsible for the management of the administrative team for services within their remit, ensuring support for the SMT at all times, providing supervision, training and support to the team. Providing detailed informatics support for Integrated Diabetes and Endocrinology Team Manage the activity and performance of Integrated Diabetes and Endocrinology Team and the need to work across the Pennine Lancashire model of service delivery. Collaboratively working on a Pennine Lancashire footprint with projects, such as structured education, enhanced GP services, intermediate service, young adults etcLeading on key pieces of transformation work alongside the Directorate Managers for Integrated Diabetes and Endocrinology Team.The post holder will take ownership of the divisions digital products (EMIS, CHATBOT), working with support from the wider informatics teams to drive the vision, buy-in and delivery of improvements across the division.
