This is an opportunity to work for 12 months in community rapid response and rehabilitation within the Arfon area. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team based in Ysbyty Eryri in Caernarfon . The team works to prevent admission and accelerate discharges as well as covering community work .
This is a fixed term contact for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the planning and delivery of the Occupational Therapy service and service developments within their team.
Self directed learning and development is expected. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, with the ability to work confidently in the assessment and treatment of patients within the clinical speciality. Recognising, respecting and being sensitive to individuals' philosophies of life along with the significance of religious and cultural beliefs.
The ability to utilise existing computer software to update clinical notes, order equipment etc. is necessary as well as general computer literacy and assisting with data collection when required.
