The successful candidate will be required to partake in the MHG Patient Flow Rota Monday to Fridays as rostered. Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective clinical services within the Directorate/specialties, ensuring that all targets, deadlines and objectives are delivered as appropriate, achieving the performance and patient access targets for their specialities.
They will provide appropriate managerial leadership to ensure the effective functioning of the specialities. They will be responsible for the effective management of human resource, financial resource, clinical governance and business planning arrangements.

HUTH has two main sites: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately �800 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.
The Trust's secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

- Degree level education, preferably in management
- Management qualification or evidence of continued professional development and experience
- Significant proven experience as a senior manager within an NHS organisation with specialist knowledge of managing acute clinical services
- Experience within an acute hospital setting. Business planning & development
- Working knowledge of MS Office for typing, amending and proof reading documents.
- Sound knowledge base of the NHS, the current issues, its values and principles of timely local access for the population.
- Across a broad range of service/ subject areas
