We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to start with us on C4 Head & Neck.
Whether you are a newly qualified Staff Nurse looking to begin your career, or an experienced Staff Nurse who wants to develop skills in a different specialty, you will find many benefits from being part of our team.
The ward has 14 beds and admits both emergency and elective patients. You will develop your skills with caring for patients both pre and post operatively and also with the admission and discharge process.
You will be given an individually tailored induction programme, where senior staff will support you to learn the skills required to care for our patients within the speciality of ear, nose and throat (ENT) and Oral Maxillofacial (OMF). Our on-going development programme offers excellent opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills, including opportunities to work alongside our Nurse Specialists, Speech and Language Therapy team and Dietitians. Skills in ambulatory care can be gained through working with our staff and Advanced Nurse Practitioners in the treatment rooms. Our senior team will guide you in achieving specialism specific competencies, and support you in your personal objectives.
Our nursing team work closely with medical staff, and other members of the Multidisciplinary Team, to provide a high standard of safe and effective care.

The applicant will be required to work night and day shifts, weekends and some bank holidays.
