The Post holder will participate in the delivery of care and will ensure consistency and continuity in the quality of care, using a wide range of clinical skills to patients attending the Denbigh Outpatient Department and IV Suite.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate, programmes of evidenced based emergency nursing care and IV therapy.
• Manages care needs of a clinical area within the department as delegated by Nurse in charge .
• Work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues and other agencies to meet the needs of emergency and IV therapy patients and their families.
• Provides knowledge and clinical skills in assisting with the provision of emergency care and IV therapy.
• Required to respond to rapidly changing situations as Unit is increasingly under pressure, if so added responsibility will be placed on the individual.
