  • oRGN, Project 2000 Adult Branch, RN


  • oALS Instructor
  • oENB 998or SLIP course
  • oALERT certificate or equivalent
  • oValid ALS provider certificate or willing to undertake
  • oCritical Care Course ( ENB 100) or equivalent or relevant critical care experience including Steps competence
  • oClinical Decision Making module at level 6 or equivalent experience / willing to work towards



  • oSignificant continuous service experience in emergency care
  • oTeaching and mentoring experience


  • oExperience of working in a Critical Care Outreach Team
  • oExperience working in a changing environment
  • oAudit experience



  • oKnowledge of the NHS Constitution
  • oKnowledge of the NHS England Guidance 'Understanding the new NHS'
  • oComprehensive knowledge of the NHS national targets and priorities
  • oExtensive clinical knowledge and practice skills across all disciplines
  • oAwareness of current Health Service agendas, especially those relating to acute care and the deteriorating patient


  • Risk management experience
  • Root cause analysis training

  • oDemonstrated experience of working in a critical care environment e.g. ICU or Outreach
