An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic dietitian to join the renal team at Southend Hospital in the provision of a comprehensive service to patients requiring dietary support as a result of renal disease.
In this role you will be the dietetic clinical lead for renal disease and have the chance to review and develop the dietetic service in accordance with the service needs and national guidance.
You will work closely with the renal consultants, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacists, other renal dietitians across the Trust to help streamline services, as well as other members of the wider MDT.

You will join our team of 16 dietitians and 2 admin support staff to provide a dietetic service for patients with renal disease.

- Cover to the renal unit and renal ward, in conjunction with the band 6 renal dietitian.
- Specialist dietetic responsibility at an advanced level for patients with renal disease.
- Promoting dietetics and the role of the dietitian in renal disease.
- Service review and development.

- Dietetic cover to consultant-led renal clinics.
- Attendance at MDT meetings.
