Frimley Health has been one of the exemplar sites for the national People Promise retention improvement programme and we were delighted that the funding for this role continued for its second year. This role will help the us to evaluate how delivery of the People Promise impacts our staff experience and retention.
The People Promise is a promise we make to each other - to work together to improve the experience of working in the NHS for everyone.
The themes and words that make up Our People Promise have come from those who work in the NHS. People in different healthcare roles and organisations have made it clear what matters most to them, and what would make the greatest difference in improving their experience in the workplace.
Embedded within our HR team, and working closely with the ICS Retention Lead and NHS England National Retention Programme, this role will have critical part to play in coordinating and embedding all elements of the NHS People Promise within our Trust and evaluating the outcomes.
Your experience in engaging key stakeholders, embedding change and collaborating across multiple teams and organisations will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment, whilst respecting the current operational pressures across our organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to local, regional and national work, improving staff experience and retention in the NHS.
Main duties of the job
As a People Promise Manager, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating and embedding all elements of the NHS People Promise within the organisation. They will work collaboratively across the organisation and ICS and with other designated People Promise Managers to maximise opportunities to retain staff across the NHS and Social Care.
About us
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is passionate about supporting flexible working, and want to ensure you can work in a way that is best for us, our patients, and for you. We welcome conversations about how we might be able to accommodate flexible working arrangements.
We are a member of the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) London Academy, giving our people professionals access to a wide range of training and development opportunities and networks.
