This is an exciting time at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, with the implementation of electronic prescribing bringing excellent opportunities for service development.
The position will therefore suit a technician who is ready for a new challenge who can show initiative in supporting service improvements and change management. This will be a varied role as you will support with the management of unlicensed medicines as well as co-ordination of the day to day running of the Dispensary to ensure the service is provided to all users in a safe and timely manner.
Ideally you will hold an ACT qualification or be willing to work towards this.
We welcome applications from those wanting to develop their career and consideration will be given to those strong candidates who may not meet all the essential criteria and therefore offered a developmental role. Roles offered on a developmental basis will be banded lower until all competency targets are met.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, with expectation to participate in flexible working which will include weekend, late duty and bank holiday rotas.
