We are looking for a Dietitian with oncology experience to join our Macmillan Integrated Therapy Service.
You would be joining our current Macmillan Dietetics team (1 x full time Band 7, 1 x full time Band 6 Dietitian and 2.6 x full time Band 4 assistant practitioners)

Main duties of the job
To work as a specialist clinician receiving and prioritising referrals for patients with a diagnosis of cancer.
To undertake specialist, comprehensive assessment of patients' nutritional status and formulate nutritional treatment plans to enable patients to withstand the adverse side effects of cancer treatment and be discharged from hospital as quickly as possible.
To attend the relevant Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to give a specialist Dietetic opinion on treatment plans for current and new patients, ensuring a holistic, timely and patient-centred approach.
The post will be mainly based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with the requirement to travel to The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford as required.
