We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking radiographer to join their radiotherapy team as a pre-treatment advanced practitioner. You will have previous leadership experience and be confident in all aspects of pre-treatment, including CT and virtual simulation.
The UHS radiotherapy department is equipped with 7 Elekta Versa HD linacs, 3 combining ExacTrac Dynamic and iGuide systems and 4 with VisionRT surface guidance, an HDR brachytherapy unit, XStrahl orthovoltage unit and a Mobetron intra-operative radiotherapy unit. The pre-treatment area consists of 3 CT scanners across 2 sites (Southampton and Basingstoke), 2 of which have contrast injection pumps, as well as Elekta's Active Breathing Co-ordinator and Varian's RGSC.We are looking for a pre-treatment advanced practitioner to join the current pre-treatment team and working with the band 7 and 8 team in order to drive forward the service, with the aim of delivering a world-class service to our patients.Main duties of the job

- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography / Diploma of College of Radiographers with specialist experience and courses.
