The Acute Medical Unit is a 50 bedded Unit consisting of a dedicated nursing, medical, pharmacy and allied health professional multidisciplinary team.Main duties of the job

- Substantial post registration
- Evidence of having undertaken relevant further study or training as required for the post
- Recognised management or leadership qualification
- Substantial experience at Band 5 or Equivalent within specialty
- Experience of managing a ward or department on a shift by shift basis

- Leadership skills
- Evidence of the acquisition of relevant skills associated with the role
- Willingness to undertake relevant further study as required for the post
