An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1.0 WTE self-motivating and resourceful Community mental health practitioners to join our early intervention for psychosis teams. We are looking for a registered nurses, Occupational therapists , or social workers.
1.0 WTE north based at St Mary's hospital Kettering
You will be working with individuals and their families from aged 14 years upwards CAMHS experience will be welcomed.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working in the county localities as a Specialist Community mental health practitioner, you will be at the forefront of shaping the team's service model, working alongside your MDT colleagues to ensure that services provided meet the National access and waiting standards for Early intervention services. This will include cognitive behavioral therapy and Brief family interventions. Also ensuring the services are responsive, flexible, and innovative. You will be involved in evidence-based assessments when requested, and in developing and delivering recovery focused interventions and community groups.
You will maintain Care-Coordinator responsibilities for a small case-load of service users with first episode Psychosis, and participate in day to day team duties.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and assessment skills, be confident in their ability to support service users and their families with Psychosis, and most importantly be a whole team player.
