An exciting opportunity has arisen in Imaging at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) for a dynamic and motivated individual, based at The Royal Salford Hospital, where the major trauma centre for Greater Manchester and hub site for emergency General Surgery for the North West of Greater Manchester is currently being constructed and expected to open later in 2023.

The site has the full range of modern equipment including MRI (3T & 1.5T), CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA, X-ray, Angiography (Neuro & Body as well as Cardiac).

You will be supported to lead, develop, transform and innovate the teams of this acute site, and with the recent unification of the numerous imaging sites to form the NCA, you will work closely with peers, including the Directorate Manager of the Bury, Rochdale and Oldham imaging sites, to standardise care across the whole organisation.

Main duties of the job

You will provide leadership to the Imaging services at The Royal Salford Hospital and have operational managerial responsibility for the services, working with and supporting the teams deliver a timely service to our patients in each imaging modality.

As a member of the Imaging management team, you will be working closely with the divisional managing director, clinical directors and multi-disciplinary teams, to deliver innovative patient care in line with our Trust's values.

You will work with your colleagues across the NCA to provide parity of services across the organisation.
