Clinical Governance Midwife , Grade: B7, Hours: 15 hours
Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is a great place to work and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join our senior midwifery team as a lead for clinical governance and risk management.
The role will provide a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in working collaborative in Yorkshire and the Humber to deliver Better Births following the National Maternity Review.
The successful candidate will provide key links in the Local maternity transformation work stream for clinical governance across the Humber Coast and Vale STP footprint.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the co-ordination of clinical governance procedures and frameworks within Maternity Services, ensuring systems are in place to manage clinical risk effectively.
The post holder will provide leadership, guidance and expertise within the multi-professional team for Maternity for clinical governance and risk management in line with the Trust-wide framework.
This will include developing and putting in place strategies and frameworks that ensure the Maternity service meets its obligations for Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST), and that it meets the Trust standards for clinical governance including risk management
