The North Wales Brain Injury Service (NWBIS) is an inter-disciplinary, community-based brain injury rehabilitation service, based at Colwyn Bay Hospital. The team works across North Wales and accepts referrals for persons who have sustained an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist (Band 7) to become a core member of our team, providing person-centred and evidence-based neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation to adults with an acquired brain injury. Experience of working with people with acquired brain injury and neurorehabilitation is desirable. However, the team are also able to provide support with development of clinical understanding of brain injury and neurorehabilitation skills.

The post is a permanent Band 7 post. We welcome applicants who wish to work full or part time.

Main duties of the job

NWBIS has close links with Bangor University and we are able to offer opportunities to contribute to research and other academic activities with the University.
