We would love to hear from all newly qualified nurses and from those due to qualify soon to be able to fulfil this exciting opportunity for EIP North & Mid Hampshire.
Our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service team work with people presenting with their first presentation in psychosis from the age 14 years. We cover the North and Mid area of Hampshire which includes Basingstoke, Andover, Winchester and the surrounding villages. The team work as a cohesive group to give the best possible care and choice to our clients, aiding them in their recovery, providing psychoeducation/ Psychology/ Wellbeing support/ family work/ social inclusion.
The successful candidate will need to:
*Be part of a service that is dedicated to working closely with family members as well as the client.
*Be compassionate and committed to providing patient centred and evidence based care.
*Expected to be able to prioritise their time effectively and confidently work alone within their scope of practice knowing when to seek help.
*Focus on patients' recovery and be caring.
*Have the flexibility and resilience to engage collaboratively with clients and their family who are experiencing their presentation of psychosis.
*Be imaginative and take the initiative with ideas for improving the service
*For new staff members to have an interest in developing a CBT focused skills.
*For new staff members to have an interest and are motivated about service development.
*Exception of work weekends.

To provide psychiatric interventions to a defined client group and their families within Mid & North Hants area, and specifically to help ensure the provision of a comprehensive service to those made most vulnerable by virtue of mental ill health, namely psychosis.
