We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Health Visitors to join our 0-19 Universal Childrens Services.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner with initiative and drive who is keen to contribute to the further development of our service.
Newly qualified Health Visitors are supported through preceptorship.
You will be given a SG supervisor, have regular 1 to 1 's an appraisals to support your learning and development in practice.
The 0-19 Universal Services has implemented a new delivery model focusing on the Public Health Healthy Child Agenda at Universal level in the Universal Teams and Safeguarding Vulnerable babies, children and young people in the Universal Partnership Plus Team.
You will be supported to work agile within the locality using the central children's hub, and spoke hot desking areas in addition to home working

You will be expected to demonstrate effective leadership skills in being able to manage your own caseload and support junior staff members and pre-registration students within the workplace.Main duties of the job
You will be expected to demonstrate higher level communication skills and have the ability to work with clients and professionals and tailor these skills appropriately. You will be expected to work within the multiagency arena and must have the necessary skills to challenge and question decision making. As part of this process you will be expected to contribute and formulate supportive outcomes for children and families both autonomously and in the multiagency arena.About us
