Were looking for registered Theatre Professionals to join our friendly, supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality, patient-focussed care within busy and varied Departments. We are seeking to appoint Operating Department Practitioners and Nurses colleagues for our Theatres and Anaesthetics teams.

You will plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients, in their surgical journey, across our general and specialist theatres, whether in our Acute or Community setting in beautiful Devon.

Are you passionate about making a difference to our patients? With or without experience, well provide full training, development and support to help you start your career as part of our amazing Operating Theatres team!

Here at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust we place a strong emphasis on personal and professional development. Youll receive an in-house induction and competency programme.

Our support for you doesnt end after a set period, our Departments Team of Clinical Educators work in the Clinical setting and are on hand when you need extra guidance and encouragement whenever you need it. We also have the Royal Devon wide Buddy scheme to ensure that you have someone to help and guide you and answer any questions you might have.

There will be opportunities to undertake further professional courses in support of your on-going professional development and career progression.

We have a range of Theatre environments in a selection of locations for you to choose what interests you:

Our General Theatres undertake a wide range of specialities in both the elective and emergency settings. These include Orthopaedic Trauma, Ear Nose & Throat, Maxillo Facial, Plastics, Breast, Vascular, General Surgery and Urology (which includes state of the art robotic procedures.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
