An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx) for an experienced home enteral feeding dietitian dietitian to join our home enteral feeding team. The postholder will be team lead and also hold a clinical caseload.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Dietitians Department and home enteral nutrition service dietetic team at Worthing Hospital as advanced clinical lead for home enteral nutrition for adults. This includes managing your own clinical caseload and supervising the day-to-day work of the other dietitians and dietetic assistant within the HEN team. To work alongside the Paediatric HEN Dietitian and Macmillan Dietitian and provide emergency cover for tube issues for their HEF caseload. The post will be a point of expertise to the whole dietetic department and MDT, ensuring the delivery of a consistently excellent service to patients and their carers.
You will be lead for the HEF team, responsible for staff management such as leave requests, caseload allocation, staff development and appraisal. You will also have a role in developing the service to maximise efficiency and patient care.
