We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to support the Moving and Handling Advisor and the Moving and Handling Team.
You will need to have a recognised qualification in Moving and Handling, organisational skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Moving and Handling is about providing safe Moving and Handling techniques so far as is reasonably practicable, for employees, and patients.
Proposed interview date: 4th October 2023
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver quality Moving and Handling education and associated support elements of the role will include planning, implementing and evaluating training programmes Trust wide.
The post holder will be expected to develop knowledge, practice and research in the specialist area and engage with other institutions where appropriate. The trainer will be a visible, accessible individual who can provide knowledge and expertise in clinical practice when affording training to staff.
The post holder will act as an expert practitioner and role model in order to provide development of a workforce with the ability to provide safe and high standards of care in relation to supporting Moving and Handling.
Achieve and maintain compliance, keeping within guidelines, policies and procedures reflecting the overall philosophy of the Trust.

- Degree level qualification in relevant subject or equivalent relevant experience
- ROSPA qualification or equivalent experience
