An exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and experienced midwife to join the maternity education and practice development team in the position of Midwifery Practice Educator Team Leader . The vision is for successful post-holder(s) is to support the delivery of education and practice development programmes at St Mary's Hospital Managed Clinical Service, North Manchester site, with some cross site working.
Main duties of the job
Saint Mary's Hospital Managed Clinical Service is the largest maternity service in the country providing care for women across Manchester, its surrounding areas and the North West region. The three sites are Saint Mary's oxford Road, Saint Mary's North Manchester and Saint Mary's Wythenshawe. Saint Mary's Hospital is a well-known centre of excellence, all with a vibrant and lively working atmosphere. You will work with the Lead Midwife for Education and Practice Development team and other multi -disciplinary team members to support the delivery of education and practice development programmes.
