The Medical Resourcing and Medical Staffing Teams are part of the Human Resources Department and provides a support functionfor all Medical and Dental recruitment for the organisation on recruitment , retention issues, Rota's and managaing the Medical Locum Bank. This apprenticeship offers a unique and diverse opportunity to develop a full range of skills in these areas with teams that possess a wealth of knowledge, talent and expertise

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for customer service duties, taking enquiries from managers, staffand visitors to theCustomer interactions will cover a wide range of situations including face-to-face, telephone, post, and email. You will also play an important administrative role within the team, completing a variety of clerical tasks in a timely manner, in order to support the team.

Job responsibilities
To achieve an apprentice standard (Key Skills, Certificate/Diploma and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame. Attend all of the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary. Undertake any necessary home work during the length of the course.
To assist the department in the provision of the broad range of services provided, working under the supervision of the department staff.
An Apprentice is expected to expand and broaden their skills and abilities. Nonetheless, they must operate at all times under the direct supervision of a senior member of staff, unless operating according to agreed procedures that have been approved by the department.

- Good level of general education
- Willing to participate in professional development specific to this role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grades C or above
- Understanding of the apprenticeship role
- Competent computer user and able to process basic clerical skills accurately
