The Digital Services department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust recently completed two exciting digital transformation programmes which concluded the digital strategy 2019-2022. The flagship programme being the implementation, in June 2022 of the Epic EMR solution, alongside other integrated enabling support systems to create a new mature Electronic Patient Record (EPR) for Frimley Health. The Epic product is the core and majority component of the Trusts EPR and provides an excellent platform for enhancing the Trusts digital capability.
To ensure continuous optimisation of the EPR to meet the ever-changing capabilities of the product and ever evolving needs of the Organisation, the Trust is looking to recruit a Digital Learning Manager to support the ongoing learning and development needs of the workforce on our continued journey to become one of the leading digitally mature Trusts in the country.
Main duties of the job
The Digital Learning Manager will lead on all elements of digital learning across the Trust, developing strategies and programmes which support the Trusts strategic ambitions, the optimisation of the EPR and other digitally enabled transformation programmes. This is a fast-paced role which will utilise the post-holder's strategic planning experience, clinical and operational knowledge combined with strong project and people management skills.
This role is a senior management position and as such holds the responsibility for developing the digital learning function at Frimley Health to be forward thinking, responsive and continually improving to meet a constantly evolving digital landscape and to support a busy workforce in our quest for excellence.
This position is a full-time permanent role, requiring the flexibility to work sometimes unsociable hours to meet challenging demands and tight deadlines while managing a team of highly skilled individuals with a diverse range of experience.
