A vacancy has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the rehabilitation and forensic services on the Kingsway Hospital site in Derby. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to become part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team.
The team provides 24-hour, inpatient support and help to adults with severe and enduring mental illness, who have traditionally found it difficult to spend long periods of time out of other inpatient settings.
Other difficulties may include poor response to treatment, frequent relapse, repeated admissions to acute services and dealings with the criminal justice system.
Our philosophy is underpinned by the 'recovery' paradigm.
Applications are welcome from newly qualified registered nurses.

The post holder will be clinically responsible for supporting the delivery of a flexible, responsive service across the campus.
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues, key partners and those within the unit to develop services to meet the mental health needs of those who utilise the service
The post holder will employ a wide range of skills, building on and developing their expertise and actively seeking advice and collaboration with issues which may not be readily within their sphere of competence. As a registered practitioner you are professionally and legally accountable under the NMC code of professional practice.
About us
We've been rated 'good' overall by the CQC, with some outstanding services. The CQC commented at our most recent inspection on how our colleagues treatedpatients with compassion and kindness and felt positive and proud about working for the trust.
