We are looking for a highly experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist, with a varied background in Physiotherapy modalities these include: musculoskeletal, neurological, basic respiratory skills, postural management, rehabilitation, etc..... to join our skilled and friendly specialist Physiotherapy team.
Improving physical health for people who have a Learning Disability continues to be a strong focus for our Learning Disability services. You will contribute to the delivery of high quality, safe care and will support the development of clinical pathways that meet national Learning Disability guidance within the organisation.
Main duties of the job
You will carry a specialist clinical caseload, delivering highly skilled Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to adults who have a Learning Disability and complex physical and neurological problems.
You will be based in a single point of access L.D. therapy team as aprt of a Black Country wide approach, collaborating closely with other health professional peers such as Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists etc
The successful candidate will assist the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner and Principal Physiotherapist in planning, evaluating and developing the Physiotherapy service in line with the: Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, NICE and NHS England guidance.
The candidate will be required to have a full driving licence, due to the community aspect of service provision and the transit of patient equipment.
Membership of relevant Professional Networks area also encouraged.
