Breast Screening Office & Programme Manager
Are you an experienced manager looking to join a supportive team in Taunton?
We are looking for a Breast Care/NHS Breast Screening Programme Manager to work in our symptomatic and breast screening services at Musgrove Park hospital in Taunton, Somerset.
This post is a permanent - 37.5 hours per week post.
The role will include a variation of leadership, management, performance, quality, governance and co-ordination of both the symptomatic and screening services.

Main duties of the job
You will manage the administration team within this service, ensuring you are there to support them with day to day queries and escalations.
You'll build relationships with, and work closely with the Clinical Service Lead, Director of Screening and Superintendent as well as the clinical and imaging teams.
Responsibilities include:
You will report to the Surgical Service Group, taking part in regular meetings and updating accordingly.

- Ensuring the maintenance of facilities and equipment is fit for purpose and meets NHS BSP standards including mobile screening services
- Ensuring the operational delivery of Screening services,leading and effectively implementing change management initiatives to improve service provision at all local and national levels and ensure performance targets, objectives and waiting times are met
