An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our well established group of Emergency Practitioners. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating and discharging patients with acute and chronic MSK injuries who present in ED, working as an autonomous practitioner.
Main duties of the job
A Physiotherapist Practitioner is able to provide an autonomous, high quality, patient focused, efficient and comprehensive assessment of patients attending the Emergency Department (ED) with musculoskeletal injuries or problems.
This will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice in the Emergency Department. The post holder will work as part of the practitioner rota ensuring the safe referral and discharge of patients.
