This post offers an exciting opportunity for an advanced clinical pharmacist with excellent leadership skills to join our team as the Divisional Lead Pharmacist for Medicine (Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington, Altrincham) and MFT Lead Pharmacist for Frailty and Falls. - Manage a team of specialist & rotational pharmacists within the Medicine Division and deputise for Clinical Pharmacy Services Manager (WTWA) when necessary.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will:
- Lead and manage the clinical pharmacy service provided tothe Medicine Division at WTWA ensuring service delivery to agreed standards in line with business planning requirement and Key Performance Indicators
- Line manage a Pharmacy team delivering specialist services to frail elderly / falls patients across the Trust.
- Demonstrate compassionate leadership, inspiring and motivating the team.
- Be a lead specialist pharmacist with highly specialist knowledge and skills, act as an expert resource in this practice area and a clinical pharmacist role model.
- Promote the safe and effective use of medicines within the division, supporting the division with all matters relating to medicines management including governance and safety
- To establish effective working relationships with Clinical Heads of Division, Divisional Director, Head of Nursing and other relevant divisional stakeholders.
- To support the transformation of services using innovative approaches, and work with colleagues across MFT to harmonise practices to ensure the best patient outcomes for patients
- Form part of the Pharmacy Clinical Services Management Team, deputising for the Clinical Services Manager for WTWA when necessary.
