An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our Trauma ward at the Royal London Hospital.

On the day:- You can meet the team and discuss career opportunities- You will undertake assessments and interviews on the same day

As the first dedicated poly-trauma ward in the UK, our Trauma Ward (12D) treats a diverse range of patients following multiple trauma admitted via the major trauma service.

We are looking for nurses with a commitment to developing our outstanding trauma services. You should have excellent communication skills you must be friendly, approachable and demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to keep calm in challenging situations.You will be supported to embrace both your clinical and leadership skills and given the opportunity for professional development within a progressive team, where our nursing skills are valued by our patients, their families and all members of the Multi Disciplinary Team.Post registration experience is desirable, however we will be able to offer an orientation programme with a designated mentor and the chance to attend relevant study days and in house training to enable you to develop within this role.

Main duties of the job

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to provide high quality holistic and individualised care to patients admitted via the trauma service.
