This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of �2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner (Band 6) to join the Local Mental Health Teams (LMHT)
We are looking for applicants from a Nursing, OT, Social Worker or equivalent background with experience of working in Mental Health who are looking at taking the next step in their career to join the team.

Hours can be flexible there are full and part time hours.
LMHT is a community-based service which operates Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Main duties of the job
The LMHTs provide mental health services for adults across Nottinghamshire, bringing together a variety of services, including Assertive Outreach, Community Rehabilitation, Community Occupational Therapy Service , Outpatients, Group Services and clinic based interventions.
We help patients and their families cope with periods of severe mental illness and assess, plan and implement a personal path of recovery. Some of our patients may require short term intervention, and sometimes longer-term care plans will be put in place.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player, working within a dynamic multi-disciplinary health team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability and experience to manage complex cases in partnership with other agencies. In return, the successful applicant will receive training and support to develop specific therapeutic skill sets to enable them to provide a high-quality service to our patients and their families.

Day to Day Duties:
- Caseload management under the Care Programme Approach
- Initial assessments and one-to-one interventions with service users.
- To undertake and record comprehensive need/risk assessments, devise and implement treatment plans for service users.
