Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator.
To lead, manage and coordinate BCHFT's volunteering programme, to support volunteers in all aspects of their volunteering journey, including one to one Volunteer meetings and supervision.
To recruit, support, progress and maintain volunteers and volunteering placements within the Trust.
To work as part of the team to promote recovery within the Trust and the wider communities of the Black Country. This role will require an understanding and experience of developing and delivering a Volunteer programme, The post holder will have knowledge and working experience of mental health challenges, empathy, compassion and patience and a keenness to make a positive contribution through learning and empowerment.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include to manage and coordinate BCHFT's Volunteering programme. To support volunteers in all aspects of their volunteering journey. To recruit support and progress and maintain Volunteers and volunteering placements in an internal environment. To ensure the volunteering programme is consistent with National volunteering best practise.

- Degree level or equivelant experience
- Experience of delivering and coordinating a similar volunteering programmes
- Experience of coaching, motivating and supporting volunteers
- Experience of leading a team and supervising others
