We are seeking to recruit a Lead Business Data Engineer who will be responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery within the Business Intelligence Data Engineering Team of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust . This role will support the Cancer and Diagnostics divisions. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Trusts' Business Informatics department.
Success will mean ESNEFT has a team that is proactive and adaptable in finding innovative technological mechanisms for reporting information and can analyse data in innovative ways for a range of audiences. Your work will make a tangible contribution to delivering the Trust's Informatics Strategy.
We are looking for a leader who is an expert with proven experience in data warehousing and reporting developer with proven experience in using MS Azure products and who has demonstrable skills in Power BI.

Main duties of the job
- The Lead Data Engineer has responsibility for managing all aspects of service delivery within the Business Intelligence Data Engineering Team of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust pertaining to BI solutions supporting the Cancer and Diagnostics Division, to agreed quality standards and within the resource and income base available, to support the Trust's development as a clinically led organisation
- You will lead on the development, implementation, establishment and review of performance management systems within the Cancer and Diagnostics division - it is critical that this is done collaboratively with other within the service area and across the other Divisions.
- Provide support and cover for other Data Engineers within the wider Business Informatics department.
