Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Lead Business Data Engineer who will be responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery within the Business Intelligence Data Engineering Team of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust .
This is a shared role between the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board and East Suffolk and North East Essex Foundation Trust and will provide dedicated data engineering expertise and capacity for the wider Integrated Care System.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Trusts' Business Informatics department.
Success will mean ESNEFT has a team that is proactive and adaptable in finding innovative technological mechanisms for reporting information and can analyse data in innovative ways for a range of audiences. Your work will make a tangible contribution to delivering the Trust's Informatics Strategy.
We are looking for a leader who is an expert with proven experience in data warehousing and reporting developer with proven experience in using MS Azure products and who has demonstrable skills in Power BI.

Main duties of the job
- he Lead Data Engineer has responsibility for managing the development and maintenance of the ICS' shared cloud-based data and analytics infrastructure to i) support the ICS' develop a population health intelligence platform, ii) ensure shared working spaces are available for analysts across the system as part of the Intelligence Function, and iiI) give ICS organisations access to modern cloud computing technologies for storing and exploiting their data.
- The Lead Data Engineer will manage shared working spaces for ICS analysts, ensuring data is managed in line with the requirements of the law and information governance frameworks.
