This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance team of a leading acute London Trust in a high profile role.
We are looking for a senior professional to support the Trust in all aspects of the reporting and planning of NHS income. Responsible to the Head of Finance - Income and Contracting, you will work in partnership with our Clinical Boards and other corporate services around the in-year reporting of NHS income as well as providing analytics support to the financial planning and contracting processes.

Main duties of the job
You will be highly involved in developing the Trust's understanding of the NHS funding regime, providing a source of expertise around technical developments in the national payment system. You will work closely with Contracting colleagues around negotiations with commissioners and the Information team around understanding the reporting of activity under our EPIC PAS system. You will also be provided opportunities to work with external stakeholders both within North Central London ICS and Specialist Commissioning.
In doing this, you will be supported by an experienced team within finance working in a friendly and high-performing environment. UCLH offers a range of training opportunities to support staff development and are looking for an ambitious, proactive and positive individual to join the team.

- CCAB or equivalent Qualification and current professional registration
- Postgraduate management qualification or equivalent experience
- In depth specialist knowledge & expertise of the areas of NHS patient activity definitions, OPCS/ICD and Grouping rules, HRG's, national tariffs, and the associations and dependencies between these areas.
- Knowledge of the health economy e.g. commissioning gained through practical experience.
