Job summary

Senior Cardiac Physiologist for advanced non-invasive cardiology diagnostics, in particular Echocardiography. The role is full time 37.5hrs/week, part time position can also be consider.

All applicants should have completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and be RCCP/HCP registered.

Performing and reporting ECGs, fitting holter and BP monitors, performing exercise tolerance tests and analysing holter monitors using Spacelabs Pathfinder.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • The successful candidate must have a BSc Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
  • BSE/ASE/EACVI.
  • Fully accredited Echocardiographer
  • Able to work independently


Experience

Essential

  • The candidate must be experienced in all aspects of technical Cardiology, including practice with a wide array of technical equipment


Desirable

  • Experience of working within the NHS


Knowledge and skills

Essential

  • Advanced knowledge of technical Cardiology - especially Echocardiology
  • Able to provide quality care


Desirable

  • Strong general I.T skills
  • Compassionate interpersonal demeanor
  • Strong communicative skills
