Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in Conwy and Denbighshire (Central Area BCUHB).
This post will be split between adult and paediatric services, offering an excellent opportunity for Newly Qualified Therapists to continue to develop a wide range of clinical skills.
You will provide Speech and Language Therapy Services for patients in early years settings and within stroke rehabilitation.
Main duties of the job
You will provide person centred assessment and treatment of communication needs in conjunction with multidisciplinary team colleagues to improve the quality of life for those referred to our service in pre-school teams and within stroke rehabilitation. This will involve training and enabling others to support patients to reach their full potential.

- Receive regular clinical supervision in both 1:1 and peer support groups.
- Attend regular team meetings.
- Have an opportunity to work in an innovative, and motivated team within a supportive, collaborative and progressive environment.

- Have buddy and supervisor support for completing NQT competencies.
