Fracture clinic are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our busy team working within Fracture clinic /Plaster room.

Main duties of the job

Fracture clinic are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our busy team working within Fracture clinic/Plaster room.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a specialist and routine casting and or splinting service whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a patient centred service and provide advice and support to patients and carers.

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of the patients and families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff.

Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly to ensure that the service is operational from 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Friday.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Current NMC Registration on relevant part of register or student nurse awaiting NMC registration
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent
