This team is pivotal to the smooth running of our 4 hospital locations at Good Hope, Solihull, QE, Heartlands and wider associated system partners.

As the Trust continues to grow its clinical services across Birmingham and Solihull - it's recognised that our support teams also have to expand to ensure service delivery.

The role of Finance Business Partner will be based at Regents Court (B15) and will work with the Divisional Director of Finance to lead financial and performance management services across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Success in this role will see you influence decision making within the Division by providing expert financial advice and support to budget holders across the Trust. You will be specifically responsible for the regular reporting of financial and non-financial management information, the annual financial planning and budget setting process and will be involved in the generation of efficiency savings.

As the successful candidate you will be a fully qualified CCAB member or finalist and will have significant relevant experience in a financial management role in a large and complex organisation, including experience in the financial elements of business planning and investment appraisal techniques.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Fully Qualified member of CCAB
  • Completion of evidenced ongoing Continuing Professional Development in accordance with guidelines produced by the relevant Professional Accountancy Body CCAB Qualified


Experience

Essential

  • Significant relevant experience in a financial management role in a large and complex organisation, including experience in the financial elements of business planning and investment appraisal techniques.
  • Up to date knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
