Job summary

Are you looking to develop your Nursing skills to advanced clinical practice?

A Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner Apprenticeship may be the course for you . Over the course of the three year programme you will work along side community practitioners such as community matrons , case managers and the wider community nursing teams within primary care networks and as part of the unplanned care service . You will develop Advanced clinical practice skills supporting patients with complex needs in their home environment . You will have the support and mentorship from an advanced practitioner throughout your programme of Study .

This is an apprenticeship programme it is therefore imperative that you can demonstrate you have maths and English qualifications functional level 2 or GCSE equivalent on your application as part of shortlisting criteria . you will also be required to provide certification evidence

Main duties of the job

As an apprentice Advanced clinical practitioner trainee , your time will be split between attending university and spending time in clinical practice developing your ACP skills and working along side your mentor in the unplanned care team. The unplanned care team supports patients who require a timely response to their health needs or who have escalating health needs , the team will operate between the hours of 8am and 8pm , 7 days a week . the team will be based across the localities of north/Airedale and south / city areas of Bradford

  • RGN, RSCN or RM or other allied professional with evidence of graduate level education
  • 2 years post registration experience
