Job summary
Are you a Paediatric Staff Nurse who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care to children, young people and their families?
We are currently looking for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our hardworking Emergency Department team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Within the role you will be responsible for delivering safe high-quality care to our paediatric patients alongside your emergency department colleagues, as well as working alongside the management team to ensure the highest level of patient experience in accordance and achieve the Trust's values.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
We are currently looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Paediatric Nurse with experience and a passion for emergency or acute paediatric care.
The post holder should be a registered children's nurse, have excellent communication skills and be keen to promote clinical excellence within our team.
Upon joining our Emergency Department, you will become part of an upbeat, dynamic, hardworking multidisciplinary team who will aim to provide you with the best support possible to help you settle in.
We are dedicated to supporting the development of our paediatric nurses within our service and offer continuing professional development including courses in Trauma Management, Paediatric Immediate Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support.
You will have a supernumerary period upon commencing within the post and will be closely supported by our Emergency Department management team inclusive of a paediatric specialist nurse consultant and our dedicated practice development nurse, to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
