Job summary
Working across the Informatics and Finance Departments, along with internal and external stakeholders we would like you to bring your skills, knowledge and experience to join the Trust Information Department.
This role will be transformative and key to shaping the future of the way the organisations uses data to make important business decisions. Your skills in process change will help raise the profile and accuracy of patient level costing and enable true transformational changes to be realised.
The RSFT is looking for a highly-motivated senior & analytical Business Partner to work across our Informatics and Finance Department. This is a senior role requiring strong interpersonal negotiation, and organisational skills who is able to communicate key information at all levels. The post holder needs to have strong T-SQL skills and will bewill be responsible for loading data into the Civica SLAM database on a bi weekly basis as well as for regular submissions of CDS SUS data and supporting the costing team with provision of monthly costing data.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will play a key role in developing, maintaining and evolving numerous Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) reports required by the Contracts and Income Team, and supporting the Costing Team providing data to satisfy the Costing Standards.

Working closely with the Trust Finance, Income and Costing Departments the post holder will be the Information Teams leading expert regarding the creation and submission of Commissioning Data Sets (CDS); income datasets to be loaded into Civica SLAM; and the creation of activity datasets for Service Line Reporting (SLR)/ Patient-Level Information and Costing Systems (PLICS) and National Cost Collection. Additionally, the post holder will be the primary lead on contract and costing activity analytics, i.e. the departments primary contact for supporting the contracting, income and costing teams in finance.
The post holder will play a key role in developing, maintaining and evolving numerous Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) reports required by the Contracts and Income Team, and supporting the Costing Team providing data to satisfy the Costing Standards.
The role encompasses working with Information, IT, and Finance teams as well as clinical groups in the development and preparation of complex requirements specifications. This will require skills in analytics, interpretation and resolution of highly complex problems covering a wide range of clinical and business areas including those at a national level.
The post holder will be responsible for loading data into the SLAM database on a bi weekly basis as well as for regular submissions of CDS SUS data and supporting the costing team with provision of monthly SLR/PLICS data.
