Job summary

We are looking to recruit a well organised, driven individual who can take on a key role in managing our Switchboard Department. This also includes managing the Help Desk.

By managing the equipment and applications we have, you are playing a vital role in keeping communication open for our patients and colleagues.

We need a strong individual to help lead the switchboard team and ensure that the policies and procedures in place are adhered to, whilst also using initiative to forward think and grow the department.

Main duties of the job

Manage Switchboard on a daily basis

Prioritise workload generated from emails and telephone calls.

Deal with urgent issues as they arise to a suitable resolution.

Manage switchboard team to deliver the best possible telephone service.

Manage the back office systems and applications that are pivotal to the smooth running of the Switchboard service.

Manage the Help Desk staff. Ensuring that they have the tools to deliver an excellent front of house service
