Band 6 Infection Prevention & Control Practice Educator
An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our highly successful, innovative and exciting Infection Prevention and Education Team.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate significant post qualification experience, highly developed clinical skills, and a proven interest in teaching and education. The successful candidate will be required to travel across the NCAs acute and community settings to deliver on an agreed program of education and continuing professional development.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work under the umbrella of Infection Prevention and Control and be responsible for the development and delivery of training to NCA staff. You will have a passion for excellence be experienced and motivational in delivering teaching sessions and assessing knowledge and practice, both to groups and individual learners. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the learners' clinical skills development in relation to Infection Prevention and Control.
You will use your highly effective communication skills, to give feedback and support to learners, helping to develop and support staff to be the best that they can be.

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to plan and achieve allocated learning outcomes within the expected time frame and contribute to the overall success rates for the services team. It is imperative that you maintain accurate manual and electronic records which are auditable by internal and external quality assurance processes. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the excellent customer service and commitment to staff development in line with our Trust values.
The post is for 37.5 hrs per week to be worked over 5 days. The post-holder will mainly be based onsite at Salford, however applicants must be able to travel across all Northern Care Alliance sites.
Car Driver essential.
