Job summary

Following on from a successful First Contact Practitioner (FCP) roll-out across West Essex and resulting additional DES funding, EPUT NHS Trust are expanding the FCP service within the North Uttlesford area of West Essex, in collaboration with our PCN colleagues.

Main duties of the job

As part of the FCP team you would be responsible for delivering this innovative model of care for patients in the North Uttlesford PCN, providing 'frontline' expert screening, assessment and diagnosis of Musculoskeletal conditions; to ensure patients are supported to self-manage or receive support from the most appropriate clinical pathway. Patients will access a FCP appointment directly from GP receptionists.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Degree in physiotherapy
  • 3 years post graduate MSK experience
  • post graduate training to level 7


Desirable

  • diploma in injection therapy
  • IRMER training
  • blood analysis training
  • non medical prescribing qualification


Experience

Essential

  • at least 3 years post graduate experience within MSK
