We are recruiting for a Neurological Physiotherapist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding Hyper Acute Stroke Unit/Acute Stroke Unit therapy team within East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and forward thinking candidate who is passionate about stroke to join our highly integrated team to provide an excellent quality physiotherapy service. We are dedicated to the provision of patient and family centred care.

Main duties of the job
You will have a sound knowledge base and some experience of physiotherapy intervention for stroke patients with physical deficits.
We welcome applications from therapists looking to advance and develop their skills in this clinical speciality under guidance from the experienced senior team or from those looking to move into this area and progress their skills.
The role will include being an active member of the Multidisciplinary Team, leading in-service training sessions, supervising students and junior members of the team alongside accurate, timely assessment and individualised treatment of stroke patients.
We are looking for an individual who displays good interdisciplinary team working skills and is able to use their initiative. We offer regular clinical supervision, support, stroke team in-service training and professional links with the wider Hertfordshire Neurological Services.
We run a seven day service and you will be required to work weekends on a rota system. Previous experience in neurological physiotherapy is essential.
