Main duties of the job

On successful completion of the course, you will receive a conditional offer of a Band 6 Deputy Team Manager post in a community Nursing Team. It is expected that you will remain with the organisation for a minimum of 12 months post qualification.

Due to the nature of the course applicants are required to be car drivers and have access to an appropriate car for business purposes. NB you must be independently mobile with ability to travel to fulfill placement requirements.
  • ALL INTERNAL CANDIDATES WILL NEED TO PRESENT AN AUTHORISED INTERNAL SECONDMENT FORM AT INTERVIEW
  • Salary Band 5 /6 �25,655 - �39,027

    Please note that successful applicants who are able to evidence their current salary and appropriate experience will be remunerated at their current salary pay point/in accordance with the Trust's Guidance on Starting Salaries up to the maximum pay point of Agenda for Change Band 6 for the duration of the District Nursing course.

Qualifications / training

Essential

  • RN Current NMC Registration
  • Appropriate entry level criteria for the university education programme level5/6, 240 credits of which 120 credits at level 5(diploma)
  • Evidence of a conditional offer from the University


Desirable

  • Evidence of completion or working towards Practice Assessor/Supervisor Training
  • Portfolio evidence of continual professional & academic development.
