Our aim is for the Older Persons Services to be a centre of excellence and current initiatives include working towards our dignity pledge, Compassionate Care projects and developing our newly established frailty pathway. There is on-going investment to ensure our staff have the right skills, values and expertise to provide high quality specialist care for older people.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, happy and professional individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to the team's vision. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership qualities and for an individual who is passionate about strengthening an existing team.

Main duties of the job
Fayrewood ward is an Older Person's Continuing Care Services ward, working alongside Lulworth and Ward 5. The ward is a nurse-led unit prominently caring for patients who do not meet the criteria to reside within an acute bed, continuing their hospital journey until their discharge.
The successful applicant will drive to continually improve patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience through implementation of the Trust's quality strategy.
