Job summary
The Theatre Anaesthetic team are looking to recruit Band 5 ODPs or Registered Nurses with recognised anaesthetic qualification, to work within our specialised cardiothoracic suite comprising of Six theatres, Cath labs and thoracic recovery.
In addition to a range of staff benefits, we offer a �1,000 welcome payment**
Main duties of the job
To help and support the patient prior to surgery, preparing a wide range of specialist equipment and drugs, including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment, and devices that safely secure the patient's airway during anaesthesia. During the surgical procedure the anaesthetic practitioner will also provide essential support between the surgical team and other parts of the operating theatre and hospital. The anaesthetic practitioner will also be responsible for the preparation and safe transfer of the patient to the Critical Care or Recovery area.
